AT WHAT AGE DID GUY ROUX GOT APPOINTED AS MANAGER OF A.J. AUXERRE?
In 1961, A.J. Auxerre appointed the legendary Guy Roux as their coach at the tender age of 22 because he had the smallest wage demands of all the applicants while still a player with then Championnat National (third division) club. After 44 years in charge of the club, Roux retired from managing A.J. Auxerre in June 2005 to be replaced by Jacques Santini.
