Vincent Kompany made his international debut aged just 17 for Belgium in February 2004 against France, as one of the youngest players ever. It took him 6 years to score his first goal on May 19, 2010, against Bulgaria in a friendly at the 90th minute to give Belgium a 2-1 win at the Stade Roi Baudoin in Brussels.
