DO YOU KNOW THE FIRST INDOOR STADIUM TO HOST A FIFA WORLD CUP MATCH?

Pontiac Silverdome
The United States vs Switzerland match on June 18, 1994, at the Pontiac Silverdome for USA 94 was the first to be played indoors in FIFA World Cup history. Grass was grown by Michigan State University and was the first time since 1965 (the failed attempt at Astrodome) that natural turf was used in an indoor stadium in the United States. To date, only Sapporo Dome in 2002 and Veltins Arena in 2006 later followed to host indoors game in FIFA World Cup history.
