Nigeria's Austin ''JayJay'' Okocha first club in Europe after leaving Enugu Rangers in 1990 was Borussia Neunkirchen in the German Oberliga Südwest (IV) which is in the amateur cadre. 

He joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 1992, where he linked up with many well-known players including Ghanaian international striker Tony Yeboah and later Thomas Doll of Germany where the famous Jupp Heynckes later coached them.  

Borussia Neunkirchen is currently managed by a Nigerian named Adeyemi Adetunji.
