Republic of Ireland's record cap holder and current captain Robbie Keane has scored two hat-tricks in his 127 games for the Irish national football team which was against San Marino in a Euro 2008 qualifier and the Faroe Islands in a Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier. He currently plays and captain the LA Galaxy in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.
