Argentine Delio Onnis is the marksman that has scored the most goals in the history of the French Ligue 1 with 299 goals from 1972 to 1986 while playing for Stade de Reims, AS Monaco, Tours FC and Sporting Toulon Var. He emerged Top goalscorer in 1974/1975, 1979/1980, 1980/1981, 1981/1982 and in 1983/1984 seasons. He came second in the goalscorers chart in 1975/1976, 1977/1978 and in 1978/1979 seasons.
