It was in the 1960s when eight different football clubs were English First Division Champions: Burnley, Everton FC, Ipswich Town, Leeds United, Liverpool (twice), Manchester City, Manchester United (twice) and Tottenham Hotspur. Seven different clubs won the First Division Championship in the 1920s.
